Brighton is the largest town in a group of towns and villages which together form the city of Brighton and Hove. The town is a long standing, and immensely popular, seaside resort on the south coast of England in the United Kingdom. Although the population, boosted by a huge number of students, is generally young the resort has a wide appeal across all ages and tastes. Newquay, Cornwall

Cornwall is one of the most exciting places to go surfing in the UK with a superb selection of beaches to choose from such as; Perranporth, Perran Bay, Penhale Corner and Trevaunace Cove as well as Portreath, Chapel Porth and Porthtowan Beach. Cardiff

Things You Should Know About Taking A Cardiff Vacation

The city of Cardiff is not just the Welsh Capital, bit also it is the most popular tourist destination in Wales and the United Kingdom of Great Britain outside England’s capital city of London. Cardiff is also the biggest city in Wales, however the city remained but a pretty small town until the time of the early 19th century. It was during the early 19th century that the town saw itself develop into a large port involved in the transport of Welsh coal, plus other various industry. The town of Cardiff received city status on the twenty eighth of October 1905 from King Edward VII of England, however, strangely, Cardiff only became the capital city of Wales on the twentieth of December 1955. Following the declaration of Cardiff as capital it very quickly became the perfect place for most national institutions, including the University of Wales Registry Building, the National Museum of Wales and the Welsh National War Memorial. For a surprising amount of time now the industry referred to as I.T. has experienced incredible expansion rates and also with, , although to a lesser degree other areas of commerce and industry, most noticeably in service industries. The tourism industry has also witnessed dramatic increases and today there are large numbers of establishments supplying Cardiff bed and breakfast accommodation.

Cambridge

The vast majority of tourists visiting Cambridge do so to spend time in a quintessentially English town with oodles of character and plenty of ancient buildings to add to the mix. While the colleges of the University of Cambridge certainly dominate the cityscape and many of the thirty one colleges prove so popular with tourists that they now charge a small admission fee. It can not be denied that the appeal of the University colleges is universal there is simply lots, lots more to the city of Cambridge than you might first think.

Southport

Most of us would agree that besides Blackpool most of the well known English seaside resorts are to be found in the very south of England. While Blackpool reigns supreme amongst northern seaside resorts other smaller seaside towns can be an equally rewarding vacation destination. In this blog I wish to draw your attention to the pretty little seaside town of Southport on the North West coast of England not too far south of Blackpool and a little north of Liverpool.
